Terms and Conditions
The NSW Schools Constitutional Convention is free to enter.
- One Year 11 student (incoming year 12) may be nominated by Secondary schools in NSW.
- Schools are responsible for all travel and/or accommodation costs incurred by the student to attend this program.
- Teachers are welcome to attend the day, however, are asked not to attend the small group workshops. Lunch will be provided for teachers who have registered.
- All schools are responsible for the duty of care of their nominated student.
- NSW Department of Education schools should follow the NSW Department of Education Duty of Care and School Excursion Policy and their school-based policies.
- Non-government schools should follow their individual Duty of Care and School Excursion Policies.
- Parliamentary Education staff will supervise students whilst they are at the Parliament.

- If a student is selected to attend the National Schools Constitutional Convention in Canberra, and then declines the offer, the school must inform the Parliament of NSW organisers immediately, so that a suitable replacement from the wait list can be offered the position.
- Delegates to the NSW Schools Constitutional Convention represent their schools and as such should be aware of the behavioural expectations of the school. Should there be a concern about the behaviour of a student, the school will be immediately contacted to resolve the issue.
- Students are expected to arrive on time, follow the instructions of Parliamentary Staff and stay for the duration of the Convention.
